Evidence from community games

Rulebreaker decks with public game records

Three published decklists linked to player-reported game records. Review the original lists, the sample sizes, and the construction checks before choosing what to try at your table.

Format legality note: Commander legality for new-to-Magic Mystery Booster Commander Edition cards begins . Reprinted cards use their existing format legality. Read the rules.

How to read this evidence

  • The results are reported by community players on Playgroup.gg. This site has not independently played or observed these games. Counts are dated snapshots, not live scores.
  • Current lists were checked separately against Scryfall for card count, singleton, bans, and the commander’s exception. A tracker can contain games from older list revisions; it does not prove the current 100 cards were used in every recorded game.
  • Samples of 2–14 casual games cannot establish a reliable win rate, a power ranking, or performance against a different playgroup. Losses are retained alongside wins.
  • Construction checks do not override format legality dates. These commanders become Commander-legal on November 13, 2026; earlier casual testing depends on the table’s agreement.

An Angel combat and graveyard-recursion shell with white protection and off-color Angels. The current list includes self-mill and ways to help Seluma connect in combat.

Cards in the checked list: Aurelia, the Warleader; Giada, Font of Hope; Mesmeric Orb.

Questions for your own games

  • Track how often Seluma connects before investing more cards in reanimation targets.
  • Record whether off-color sources cast the Angels in hand on time. Construction permission does not provide mana fixing.

Current list checked: 100 cards including the commander; singleton, banned cards, and color/type exceptions. Source list updated . Records reviewed . Historical games can include earlier list revisions.

Green ramp supports expensive creatures across several colors. The current list pairs large threats with haste, protection, and ways to put creatures onto the battlefield.

Cards in the checked list: Apex Devastator; Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient; Maelstrom Wanderer.

Questions for your own games

  • Log the first turn you can cast a seven-mana threat and the first turn it can attack.
  • Separate wins enabled by Maular's attack trigger from wins driven by other powerful cards. Three games cannot establish which package is strongest.

Current list checked: 100 cards including the commander; singleton, banned cards, and color/type exceptions. Source list updated . Records reviewed . Historical games can include earlier list revisions.

A colored-artifact-creature engine supported by colorless ramp and artifact synergies. Its two reported losses are useful context for testing the idea, rather than evidence of a proven winning list.

Cards in the checked list: Phyrexian Metamorph; Thought Monitor; Command Tower.

Questions for your own games

  • The checked list includes Command Tower. With The Everforger as your sole commander, it cannot produce mana; test a suitable basic land as a separate revision.
  • Record how often the commander survives to copy a useful spell. Any revised list needs its own game log; these results belong to the source tracker.

Current list checked: 100 cards including the commander; singleton, banned cards, and color/type exceptions. Source list updated . Records reviewed . Historical games can include earlier list revisions.

Build a separate revision when you change a list, then record the date, opponents, result, and a short explanation after each game. See our editorial method and Rulebreaker rules guide.
